What I learned about making friends by roller skating

I have learned that it’s really easy to make new friends when you all try new things.

almost every day that I go there is a new girl they’re taking up rollerskating for the first time!

what I have learned mainly is to try to connect so that you can all get together nothing beats skating with a group of friends!

To anyone out there finding it hard to make friends, I've only got one word: Try. Try mahn, try. There's no other way, just try. In your "try-ing" you gain the discipline/confidence needed to have a friendship. So, try

I lost 5 pounds after taking up skating. It's an exhilarating feeling! This improved my self esteem and actually got me to make new friends

I soo miss roller-skating. When I was a teen in Florida, we would rollerblade all the time. They knocked it down a few years ago 😪 but there was an awesome rink a few minutes from where I live now. Any form of skating is good exercise and good to meet people.

I so wish we had local skate shops and a bigger community of skaters where I live 😔. I'm like the middle of the midwest and the closest shop is legit in Colorado or Texas lol.

More accurately, you've got roller blades once you have family

Gosh!! It reminded me of some awkward childhood memories when I pretended to everyone that I am expert in skateboarding. And eventually everyone made fun of me because of my poor skills. But we all became good friends in the end so I never minded them.
